Just because it hasn’t happened in your timing, doesn’t mean that it’s not going to happen. I’ve recently embarked on this new journey that I may speak about at a later time and found myself growing frustrated due to a learning curve. Some times when we make the decision to pursue a thing, we want things to happen immediately. Unfortunately, that’s just not life.
During my study time, I read in the first chapter of Daniel how he spent three years in preparation prior to entering into the kings service. It was important for him to be properly trained in their culture, language, and way of life in order to be efficient and effective in the kings court. We often want to microwave the process when we’re ill prepared. God doesn’t want us to get to the place we want, just to mess it up.
Follow His process and allow Him to prune what needs to be prune and improve you. At one point in my life, I thought that God needed to be separated from my businesses but I’ve learned how important His guidance and presence in every area of my life is a necessity. His biblical principles not only steer my personal life but my business life as well. So give yourself grace on your new journey. Good things take time and trust, if you research the testimonies of those who have “made it”, you’ll see the true amount of time it takes to reach success.
I’m embracing the process and growing in grace.
